I ran into the same problem. I reviewed the chapters and did the MCQ with Wiley 3 times(Book and CD) and I felt very prepared going to exam and when I got there the first part(usually the moderate part) was so difficult. This is the first time I ran into this, usually the first part is the easiest. Like said above DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE this beast. Its a tough one. Anyways good luck to all

Thanks for everyone's feedback. Wow, sounds like BEC is tough. I just took FAR yesterday and that wasn't easy, but its scary to think that BEC is just as hard, or harder :( . My BEC is scheduled for July 1 so I was going to start studying on May 1 in order to have 2 months to study. I am thinking now that I may have to open the BEC book sooner.

@petals: WC is the Written Communication portion of the exam that consists of 3 written assignments that make up 15% of the exam. I was saying that if you practice the ones Becker gives, you can get down the time management and the general format to prepare you for the actual exam.

**Remember, the WC are NOT graded for accuracy, but are graded for grammar, tone, spelling, relevance etc.

I'm really struggling with Becker's 2011 BEC program. I
go through the lectures, read over the material and do
lousy on the MC. The MC seem so confusing.

This is the 3rd time I'm taking BEC!! I passed the other
3 sections but just can't wrap my mind around BEC.

Partly, I'm thinking it is b/c I work in public
accounting and do not deal with a lot of the topics in
BEC on a daily basis. *Excuses.

Anyways, anyone else struggling?? Any advice would be
greatly appreciated.
