i used becker for AUD 3 times and could not pass, i switched to yaeger hs and just passed with an 83. not sure if it was due to yaeger or because i tweaked my study strategy. here is what i did
i started taking crazy notes. for each module i viewed the lecture and took notes on everything gary said that i did not know or thought was important. after the lecture i read the module (even read the SAS's in the back) and added on to my notes. then did all mcq for that module and added more to my notes. i did this till all modules were complete
then i went back and reread module 1 notes. after i reread them i did all mcq on the wiley cd test bank for that module and added more to my notes. i did this for all modules
i saved SIMS for last and did all of them in the wiley cd test bank and becker passmaster software and took more notes. after all the note taking i ended up with about 60 pages of notes typed up in MS word. i rewrote all 60 pages of notes by hand (a suggestion i got from .com)
about a week before the exam i took the 2 final practice tests in becker and 1 final practice test in the back of the wiley book to gage where i was at. from this time till exam day, i read my notes over and over everyday and did 20 mcq quizzes on cpareviewforfree.com occasionally
from the beginning of the process i typed up the different audit reports, ratios and equations, and a step by step audit engagement i found on cpareviewforfree.com and would read them every morning while doing my 30 min cardio at the gym
AUD questions can be soooooo detail oriented so during the exam i made sure i read each question slowly. i also made sure i read all answers before choosing, even if it was a question i saw that was word for word in the review
hope this helps, good luck!!!
