Does anyone know if the BEC exam changed much in terms of materials since 2010? I have older BEC study material from 09-10 and and have been putting off the exam until this year. Would anyone suggest being el cheapo and using that or invest in current matieral.

Thanks,

Get something new. They added a bunch of new topics: COSO,
Corp. Gov., ERM, SOX, and others. It's a whole new
section, about 20% of the exam. I passed with Wiley, so
that might be a cost effective way to go. But I would say
you would probably not pass if you don't study the new
stuff (unless you already know it.)

I took BEC in 2010 and had all the 2010 Wiley books.

I bought the Wiley 2011 Update book that covers all the topics they've added this year and they have about 40 questions to go along with it for each section.  And then I'm just going to get the exam content outline you can find online and compare it with prior year sections to make sure I'm studying everything.

I'm taking BEC May 20th so we'll see how it goes.
