I'm hoping Becker will prepare me well. I used Becker last year for REG and passed on the first try. I actually felt over-prepared after I took the exam and felt the exam was easier than Becker.

Then I used CPA Excel for BEC- twice, and got 74s both times! I was scoring in the high 90s on the practice questions/exams and read all the material lots of times. I came to the realization that Becker is just better. The lectures were better, text was better, and questions were harder. Plus I'm not sure that those bite-sized lessons are all that great. It's easy to forget something if you "studied" it for 30 minutes on your lunch break.

Hi, very impressive scores.

I just sat two exams on the weekend, and I found myself questioning what I should be doing the night before the exam and leading up to the minute I entered the room to be finger printed and the like. Should you study notes, do questions, or relax? What seemed to have worked for you?

Yes, unfortunately, I underestimated the extent of the
exams and thus, I put myself through hell trying to
retain 3 becker books-worth of information all at the
same time.

It was very difficult and there were many sleepless
nights and stress I had never experienced before, but in
the end, the time I put in paid off.

From my experience, the questions becker provided were
the best teachers.

I constantly drilled through them and made note of the
ones I got wrong and the ones that I got lucky on. The
source material and the lectures were more of a
supplement for me. I referenced them to get an
understanding of the questions I was missing.

This is one of the main reasons I'm worried about BEC
because I don't think my method will be effective this
time if the Becker 2011 BEC material and questions aren't
really reflective of the actual 2011 BEC CPA exam.

That's why I was wondering if the BEC CPA exam and BEC
Becker Practice questions/material are pretty on the spot
with each other.

Once again, any input would be helpful, and any questions
you guys may have, I'd be happy to help with as well.

Hoping I can reach your scores. Wish me luck (check my sig to see what I mean.)
