i'm using Becker for AUD right now and I'm taking the exam at the end of the month. Did you feel like Becker did a good job preparing you?

Becker definitely helped. Some of the questions were the exact same as that on Becker. I couldn't have done it without a review course. Others might be just as good, but I chose Becker because my college pushed it and I got a discount. I can't say that the questions got harder, but that is probably because I knew most of the 'hard' question answers because of Becker. When I took FAR, I said it would be a miracle if I passed (I did). With AUD, I say that I'll be surprised if I fail. Now it's on to BEC, and it looks daunting. Good luck!

For anyone that took BEC this year, did the material for Becker prep you for
the essay portion of the exam? I heard the essay will be from different
topics so I wasnt sure if I would be fine just going over becker?

Hi Sahmed!

I took my BEC yesterday and felt beckers did a good job. I am not hoping to pass this exam not because of beckers but because of myself. If you'll go through the the entire Beckers book including ancillary part and will master all homework questions. That will be best. Coso and Problem solving questions are test more. At least I got a lot of them I don't no about others. Do prepare well for all numerical questions from easy to hard once.

Regarding Written comm., if you have good writing skill in terms of grammar, structuring your answer, etc. You should not bother much on this part. Just see what is Memo/ Letter format. Question will be based on what you have studied in BEC... Unfortunately, you might come across 1 WC question on other subjects like FAR,REG or AUD. Even if you have no idea about the topic just focus on your structure of the matter and write whatever comes to you mind related to that topic.

Most imp tip is: MANAGE YOUR TIME IN EXAM... I was left with 30min to cover 3written communication. I dont even know what I have written there.
