I am using Becker 2010 and in B3 there a bunch of equations for kdt and the like, and I am wondering is it necessary to memorize them, or is it more important to understand the components in them, for instance that the Cost of RE (kre) can be dependent on 3 different models, one of which uses beta as a component?
Also, what did you use as a cheat sheet, information that you filled in as soon as you got into the testing site? Thanks.

It's important. I had a CAPM question, and some others
with formulas (break-even, variance, ratios). I had a crib
sheet too, with formulas, ICHAMBO, anything I didn't feel I
had down. It helped a lot.

Thank you for your help. Do you have a list of equations that you put on your sheet, I am making a list that mostly involves Variances but am going to add more, such as Inventory Turnover and Discount Period APR...there just seems to be too much material and I am starting to get bogged down.
When you took BEC, how did you feel about the difficulty of the COSO and ERM, IT, and Corporate Governance Questions? I am studying them but the notes I have a more general theoretical overview. Thanks.

I thought I did great, so I was a little surprised to get
a 77. I think I got the calculation questions right, so
maybe it was the COSO and IT stuff. I felt okay about
the Corp. Gov. and COSO, but IT can be really hard to
figure out. But that stuff can be hard to study for,
it's so random.
If you just keep writing down the formulas, you will
memorize them gradually. I made a review sheet for each
Module of Wiley, with the most important stuff for each
chapter. Then, the week or so before the test, I picked
out the most important stuff from each, and stuff I
didn't understand. This really helped get the formulas
and the basics down.
