How many people are going back to the Macc after passing the CPA?

I will not get a Master's in Accounting; it doesn't add anything if your undergraduate is Accounting (and mine is). I'm planning on going for either an MBA from a Top 30, a Master's in Finance, or a Master's in Tax after passing the CPA. Ideally I'd get a few years of work experience under my belt before getting my Master's, which would make it infinitely easier to choose (and finance!) a specialty.

I'm thinking of going for it for the sole reason that I want to open the possibility of becoming an adjunct or full-time professor of accounting.  You have to have a MAC or equivalent to teach accounting.  Doesn't mean this will happen, but I want that option open in case this huge shortage of actual work continues.

Same here, Studyfreak.

The only reason I am doing it is to get access to recruiters, again.

I feel like I can get a job through it.

Why was it such a waste, GSRWSU? Did you not get a job? Did you have one already?
