To answer all of you: I will have to take 48 credit hours through the school. It is their minimum requirement, and that should be all I have to take. So, I am looking at 1 1/2 to 2 years.
And yes, I agree that accounting from a traditional, good school is not the same as DeVry. That is also another reason I want the second bachelors. Although I had an accounting concentration, and I know some of the information, I don't feel one bit confident about sitting for the CPA exam. Also, I feel like I didn't learn everything that I should have through DeVry. Don't get me wrong, still a challenging program (at times), but just not designed for what I want to achieve.
That kind of goes with why I would rather get a second bachelors in accounting before a Macc. I think I would truly struggle through a Macc program right now.
