thank you for your comment

according to my research there is no diff between edtions of one publisher caz i got becker book 2007 and 2009 no big  diff after i bought lol but i think the best way to study cpa is to make mix of becker & gliem in books and wiely &gliem & becker in mcq and sim

anyone agree with me ??????????

Hi guys. Gleim has been ok for me so far. It helped me with BEC which I couldn't seem to pass with Wiley! I bought the test-prep CD and just practised loads of ques for 6 weeks! Went in the exam and was surprised how much more confident I felt when I was done.

I've been using Gleim to prepare for REG and FAR. I bought the online course, books and test-prep CDs. It's been ok but soooo much info to know, learn and remember! I'm an int'l candidate with a degree from the University of the West Indies, Jamaica so I have ZERO experience with US taxation. Business law I have more familiarity with. I'm more comfortable with Financial accounting, even though it's still sooo much info! FAR and REG are definately the HARDEST sections in my opinion. My biggest problem is REMEMBERING the concepts and not to mention all the CREDIT LIMITS in REG! It's easier for me to remember with FAR but REG is hard cause the majority of it (tax) is completely NEW info for me to learn!

I'm practising mcqs with Gleim and sometimes I feel like I'm doing ok (scoring 65%-75%) and then other times I feel like there's so much more that I should know by now. I suppose all I can do is prepare as best as possible.

Anyways, just want to wish everyone all the best in their exams!

hey international candidate I passed REG (2nd try) and Aud (ist try using gleim test preps. My strategy was to do questions for 7 day str8 before the exam. Being an intl student too from UWI i can relate to your issue with REG but just focus on the questions and u will pass. I found studying for  REG to be much easier than FAR so far. By the way  when is your next sitting . I am sitting Far and bec in late NOv. Let me know if u want us to form a study group. email me @ carlintonc@gmail.com

I wouldn't call it fun, but you can do it now if you want.
