As far as I know, If you are in Ca you only need to take the CA ethics exam. I took the AICPA b/c I'll be applying for licensing with another state and CA too whenever I get a supevisor with a cpa license. hope this helps....

Is there any simplification diagram or pamphlet published by the CA state board to make this easier to understand ?
Maybe if you buy the AICPA's Comprehensive Coure in Professional Ethics, it will help you study for the California one.
