The CA exam is a bitch, I must have spent 50 hours on it over the holidays, and I had previously passed the AICPA version. There is no reason to have a separate exam that covers all of the AICPA materia. It's just a way to make $100/125 off CPA applicants. At most, they should have a 20-Q exam covering the differences in CA law. Completely ridiculous.
