Although I'm not sure living in DC would necessarily be my first choice, I think the FBI would be, so I would probably go with that. By the way, what exactly is your background, if you don't mind sharing a little bit? I'm sure many of us here would love to have your dilemma, so I'm wondering what you did to get to that point.

I don't know why. A Master's usually nets someone a higher initial grade level in the Federal Government.

Is the FBI job an accounting position? If it is, you might be able to get the CPA license without working under a licensed CPA, as long as the work done is accounting or auditing. That's the impression I get from reading the CPA license application for my state, which is Georgia. However, I know you may not even be doing accounting at all.
