Does the big 4 let you know when your background is
cleared? They extended me an offer 3 weeks ago, and I am
gonna start in about a week. I still haven't heard anything
about my background check. I was just wondering if they
would communicate with you about the background check
results. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I've heard that this process can be
sluggish, meaning you may have started work before the
background check is completed. The employ at-will and can
terminate the employment at any time; to what extent this
happens due to background check results will likely vary
based on firm and circumstances.
Is there something you are specifically worried about?
Did you disclose beforehand if its related to a civil or
criminal issues? Is it credit concerns?

Thanks, GeorgiaEA! No, I have nothing to worry abut. No
criminal record or anything like that. I checked my credit
score beforehand to make sure it was good. I was just
wondering since I haven't heard anything back. Thanks for
your response!

Perhaps, you could call in to personnel (the 800#; NOT your
recruiters) to see if any items are outstanding. They'll
probably let you know the status of your background check
at that time.
I'm sure everything is fine!!! Congrats!!

Assuming everything is fine, does any firm ever bother to tell you that they have completed your background check?
