Does anybody know if piecemeal opinion is still acceptable under GAAS?

Becker 2011 says yes: an opinion on specified element may be expressed if it does not encompass so many items as to constitute a major portion of the FS.

However I have heard that it is not permitted anymore.

Can someone help me to clarify on this subject?

becker is right it still acceptable to express opinion, no update to us
