Hi I was wondering if by any chance anyone thinks that a simulation question pertaining to corrective journal entries could possibly have been a pretest sim. The journal entries werent all that complicated however i know that I made a very dumb error in completing the entries. I ask this because journal entries really arent something that one usually studies when studying for audit and other sims seemed to be related to topics covered in my studies. Also would you think that a journal entry you potentially could get partial credit if I for instance got a few of the entries right in the problem but messed up on some of the entries.

I suppose it could be a pre-test sim and yes I do think you would get partial credit for the entries you got correct.

I don't think J/E questions are pretest. They have been showing up on Audit exams since the beginning of 2011.
