Hi Fendi,

I'm glad that we got a chance to speak on the phone today and address all of your concerns.  I apologize that your question had previously been rejected, and assure you that if you email it over to me we can get it answered quickly.  We are working with our moderators to ensure that this problem is handled and does not continue to occur.

Additionally, keep in mind that Lili is also very active on the message board and has all of her questions answered in a timely manner and in full.  We are working to ensure that she was able to figure out this problem, and to have our moderators start answering the questions with more details and examples.  We feel that this will help our students grasp the concepts better rather than just the answers.

We take all student comments seriously and appreciate any input in order to make the course better.  It is important to us to have the opportunity to take corrective measures for any student issues or concerns.  In the future, we would appreciate the opportunity to address any of your concerns or criticisms so that we can make the necessary changes in a timely manner. We value your input - feel free to reach out to us with any other ideas, concerns, or questions.  The door is always open.

Morgan
Operations Manager

The difficulty with Roger is if you use online good you could re watch the lectures at least once or twice to comprehend, you know he goes really like too fast.

My friend for who english is second language went to a "live" class (watch a live feed on a huge screen) couldn't take notes quickly enough, room freezing cold and volume too low.

Most seem to take online, the live feed had like 8 people.  My friend is totally screwed now cause had to pay $10 to re watch every lecture but had to watch quick cause only given like a couple weeks to watch.  To be fair Becker was like this too until recent they give everybody dvd's even if attend live with their boring instructors.

Each class has pros and cons.  At least Roger is entertaining.

Hi kkong,

Roger CPA Review gives students the option of switching from In Class to online access for no additional charge. We offer this flexible option so that students are happy with their course and can adjust their course if they are not happy attending class. As long as the student has not attended more than one day of class, they can make this switch for absolutely no cost.

I encourage your friend, all Roger students, and anyone considering Roger to contact the office any time there is an issue or concern. More often than not, there is a great alternative or fix to the problem a student is having but we can't help those who don't contact us. It is our willingness to work with students that makes Roger such a great course.

The class met twice so what now.  What is the flexible option? Now that two classes have been attended what to do?

He tried contacting your office and emailing your staff but just got rude responses that need to pay more money.  Have not seen any wilingness to work with students.  how will you work with this student?

You got the money so dont care about students now at all unless student pay more money right?

kkong,

Since I do not work for Roger, I cannot say what transpired with your friend & the staff.  However, from my experience with the Roger online system and staff, I have received nothing but professional and courteous treatment to any issues I may have encountered so far in my studies.

In your first post you mentioned that Roger wrote too fast/ illegible for your friend to take notes from, but he/she should have received the book from Roger that "translate" his lectures.  Also the room where he was watching the video feed was too cold, sounds as though the "live" class method isn't for your friend.  If your friend didn't like the first "live" class, why didn't he/ she complain to the proctor & make arrangements then and there to switch to either the online or USB?

In conclusion, while I think that it is admirable how you support your friend, why are you the one posting his/ her complaints in this forum & not your friend?

Anyway, that's just my opinion.  Gotta get back to studying.

Cheers,

Jay
