Never mind..you got a 76! congrats! I was wondering how did
you take BEC in less than month? How did you study for FAR?
I failed twice..got around 66 and 68. How do people study
and pass all the parts in a month each? I study full time
and i need atleast a 1.5 months.

pratik323,

I used Wiley review materials, for BEC, I used my time
effectively since I didn't want to miss that same testing
window after I took FAR; If you study full time, one
month might be enough for each section but, I work full
time and have 2 toddler boys but still able to pass all
parts in my first trial with in seven months.

FAR is very wide and covers all financial accounting area
s; since it was my first exam, I didn't want to fail and
studied for about 10 weeks, I worked lots of questions
even outside Wiley like cpareviewforfree.com, gleim,
bisk, lamber and becker(with a friend)

BEC was not that much difficult, specially if you have
background on economics, IT, cost accounting and
investment decision,

REG, studying for REG was not fun at all, I hated
memorizing the tax codes and was asking myself, " will I
remember all these tax rules on my exam day?" but, the
exam was not difficult and I scored even higher than all
the sections

AUD, this was the easiest section when I studied,
specially for someone who already passes FAR; and, I felt
so good when I left the exam room and I was even telling
to my husband that I will score in the 90's, but when I
saw the score, I was shocked...couldn't believe my
eyes...I still don't know what happened??? but the good
thing is " I AM DONE!!!!"

From my experience, CPA exam needs focus and commitment,
there is too much to know...vast portions to cover.. but,
if you are committed, you will make it. remember, nothing
is impossible and you need to climb the mountain, in
order to see the plains...

Good luck on your upcoming exam...

Striveforcpa,

Wow! Thank you for your reply. I didnt expect so much let
alone you even replying. So thanks.

This is actually embarrasing! I have been studying for
FAR and AUD for over a 1.5 year..no success at all. I
took FAR twice and got 66 and 68. Took AUD and got 67.
Planning to take AUD in 3 weeks for the 2nd time. I am
just a recent college graduate. I study full time..do not
work!

How were you able to complete all 4 parts in 7 months???
I put day and night together for FAR and AUD which I
failed..I did well on FAR but the sims messed me up.

What should I do? please help. On my knees..btw, I am in
California.

Also, what is the kind of "mindset or thinking process" I
shhould have? I know I am not dumb! I have a degree in
accounting. I fully understand the concepts and questions
but for some reason I just dont answer them right. Sims
have troubled me alot.

I need to pass AUD, taking it in 3 weeks, to show my face
to the world. How did you pass your exams? lol please
help..
