Hi everyone,
I passed the exam under the CA board and wanted to get a CA CPA attest license. I am working as an auditor in an overseas Big 4 firm.
When I read the licensing requirements of CA it says I must appear before the Board with Working Papers substantiating my work experience obtained overseas. I am really troubled on seeing this requirement since the work papers are the properties of the firm. How can I possibily bring them to the Board? Even the CPA exam and the Ethics Exam say workpapers are the properties of the firm.
I wondered if anyone here has had similar experience like this. Could you please share with us how to deal with the CA Board regarding this requirement? I really don't know what to do. Any advice is highly appreciated.
Thank you all and I hope all of us get the required experience to satisfy the various Boards and be a CPA one day!
