The timeline depends on the section that you are studying for at the time. If you choose to get Becker you will likely purchase the material for all 4 sections at one time. The Becker timeline is roughly 6 months from the time you start the first section until you sit for the last (that is assuming that you pass each of them on your first try). The sections are broken down into lectures. For example, BEC is broken down into 5 lectures and the Becker timeline for completion is 5 weeks. Three weeks to watch the lectures and complete the homework and then 2 weeks for a final review. Other sections are borken up as follows: REG - 7 lectures, AUD - 5 lectures, and FAR - 9 lectures. Hope this helps.

I am going with Becker and I called up and was given the option of choosing what study format per section. I plan to take BEC late Feb, FAR Apr/May, AUD late May/July and REG in Aug/Oct. Is this enough time? And how long does Becker and you recommend per section I should spend before sitting for the exam say I decided to use the self-sttudy option? Thanks again guys! Also tell me your experience with the various study formats (live, online and self study)

I have been using the online study format so I cannot comment on the others. I like that I have access to the online web-portal that gives me access to the lectures, homework questions, lecture notes and quizes from any computer not just the one where the software is installed. I have the software installed on my personal computer at home but can do questions on my lunch break at work (not my idea of a lunch break but we will see if it has been effective in a few days). You also have access to one of Beckers national instructors to whom you can ask questions as they arise during your studies. Don't quote me on this but I think that you have access to the web portal for a total of 9 or 10 months and the actual software expires after 12 months (you can get the details from Becker when you sign up). As long as you watch all of the lectures and do 90% of the homework questions correctly you earn Tuition Free Continuing Help (TFCH) through Becker and you can repurchase the software after is expires at a discounted rate if necessary.
As for study time it really depends on you and how you learn as well as if you are working full time. Some people like to study a couple hours a night for 4 to 6 weeks and take a section. Others are successful cramming the week before the exam. You can post questions under the individual sections of the exam as you take them for suggestions if you like. Best of Luck.
