Hi,

Has anyone got the Indian B. Com, M. Com & C.A. degrees evaluated under Rule 2.5 for Licensure - Education in lieu of experience? If yes, can you please tell me how many semester hours credit it comes to? Is it enough to apply for licensure under Rule 2.5?

Yes it is. I got CO license thru 2.5 rule for my Bsc math + CA from India. you will surely get it (more than 150 hrs). Just evaluate thru FACS, specifically asking for 2.5 rule evaln.

Good luck!

Hi Srima,

I am going to apply through Rule 2.5 as well for my license through the CO board. Please tell me which evaluation agency you went through and how long did it take for them to send the originals back. I am a CA and CS from India. Would this be enough to satisy rule 2.5? Please help. Thanks in advance!

Thank you

Meghna

Hi Srima,

I have passed all four parts of the CPA exam from Colorado & now trying to apply for license.I have submitted all my original transcripts to Joseph Silny & Associates for evaluation under Rule 2.5 "Education in Lieu of Experience".I am a CA from India & got my M.com too...Will I be eligible for licensure under Rule 2.5?

Thank You,

Hi Srima,
Do you mean we need to have FACS evaluate transcripts again for 2.5 rule? I had FACS evaluate my transcripts already when I was applying for cpa exam sitting. Not sure if I need to do the evaluation again..
Thanks for sharing your experience!
