I am done with my ethics too just in the process of submitting my application. We do not need work ex see the response from the board below:

My QS : Has one year of work experience in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 4 (See above) - DOES THIS APPLY IF YOU ARE MAKING AN APPLICATION IN LIEU OF EDUCATION? I HAVE SUFFICIENT CREDIT HOURS TO APPLY FOR THE LICENSE DO I STILL NEED THE WORK EXPERIENCE?

CO BOARD RESPONSE:
No, since you are applying under Rule 2.7 Education in Lieu of Experience, you are not required to submit any work experience. In addition, you can omit Forms C & D from the application packet. However, you will need to complete the other requirements as an International Applicant.

Thank you,

Yes, I am talking about CO.I didnt talk to the board but was going thro the rules. No harm talking to the board to clarify the matter.

I am done with my ethics exam. What about you?

Hey Mayura,

Even I am applying to CO State under Rule 2.7, have got my evaluation & I do meet requirements of Education in lieu of experience. Now, the only hurdle for me is the SSN. I am in the US on a dependent visa & can't apply for SSN. But, the Application for license mandatorily requires stating a SSN unless you are applying from outside the US in which case you can file an affidavit.. I can't file an Affidavit. So, I am stuck. So, do you know anything about how to fix this?  Does anyone else have this SSN issue? (I did speak to the Board & they said they need an SSN without which license won't be given. I explained my case, but to no help)..Does anyone else have the same problem?

ya i wrote to them.... job hunting so hard to get a sponsor. What are your plans?[

I am still confused abt getting the license.I am not very keen on public accounting.Maintaining an out-of state license is expensive and painful. No one cares much abt a license in private accounting.

education in lieu of experience for certification I am
also stucked with the problem of SSN #. I am in US on
dependent visa so cannot file SSN affidavit. @tshah and @
Mayurag similar to your case. Can anyone please let me
know how to resolve this?
