@ tshah so nice of you. Thanks for sharing. Now that
you have EAD and your experience as Big 4 back in India I
am sure you will get job. I am based at Kansas and there
are no opportunities here in finance / accounting field.
I will meet some consultants and try as you suggested. I
am Shah from Gujarat. Looking to your username I thought
to let you know.

@Mayura I am really very sorry for you. I know these
people are very confused abt rules and make everything
complicated. I had bad experience while cpa
registration. License is required for getting job and
experience is required for getting license. Everything
based on SSN. We H4s have no option. But as you say
Hope for the best....and Keep smiling..

Hi tshah,

I have read somewhere that on H4 you cannot work as
volunteer for a for-profit organization. I was wondering
whether I can work as volunteer for a CPA firm. All I want
is experience. But then if it is illegal and assuming we
cannot get H1B sponsor how to work out.

Can you please guide me how to contact consultants who have
finance clients? My mail id is binashah321@yahoo.in

Thanks

any good news for those applying CO CPA license?

I am waiting for my CPA license from CO, but after more than 40 days of submitting the required documents, I haven't heard any thing from them....
