I took test yesterday and now have to wait till March to find out what I made. I can feel the information leaving me and don't want to think about re-studying.
I was just wondering what some of your stories are on how you though you did before you got your grade. Most people I talk to say they thought they failed but ended up passing and have told me not to worry. I feel like I passed, but im an optimist. Did most of you pass when you felt good about it ?

So far, I've passed two of the exams, and failed once. When I passed and failed FAR I generally felt pretty rotten about the exam, I ran out of time for the simulations and felt that my 3rd testlet was definitely a "medium." However, the first time I got a 74, and 2nd time I got an 84. So I essentially came extremely close to passing it the first time, and probably had I gotten one or two more MC right I would have passed, and the 2nd time I crushed it.
When I took Audit, I felt like the sun was shining and all of the stars were aligning for me that day. I felt that my 3rd testlet was longer and harder (but I could still do it) and I had time left over when I finished, so I double checked some of my answers with the research. However, weeks later I started doubt myself thinking "maybe Audit is just not curved compared to FAR, maybe it's supposed to be easy, it was easy to study afterall." However, I found out that I passed with an 85. I took Reg a few weeks ago, and I'm going to take BEC at the end of the month (thanks for getting rid of Wave 1, AICPA).
I'm not sure what your study habits are, or how good of a student you are, but I'd just say not to read into it too much. I'd say if you had taken FAR or REG, then you shouldn't worry at all if it felt like you failed, there's still a good chance that you'll pass, and if you felt good about it, you definitely passed.. And, with Audit and BEC, I still wouldn't look too much into it, you're supposed to feel good when you did well. And there's really no "easy" CPA exam section, they're all challenging.
Good luck to you! I wouldn't 2nd guess yourself, just move on, and worry about it when the time comes.

I feel your pain. I sat for FAR 1/5 and am taking AUD next
week. In a way I'm glad I don't know how I did on FAR yet
because I don't want to be discouraged if I did poorly or
overconfident if I passed. I feel much less prepared for
AUD than I did for FAR. I'll be cramming for the next week
and hoping for the best. I'm getting antsy for my results
though. I still check the IL board of examiners website
just incase they posted the scores early...wishful
thinking! ;)
