I had planned to take FAR this past Jan/Feb 2011 window, but I chose to retake AUD instead.

My FAR NTS ticket expires 3-30-2011. Since there are no exams given in March, I expected I could get a new NTS for April/May 2011. FAR is my last section, and when I tried to login to the NASBA site to get a new NTS it told me all exams are still in process.

Do I have to wait until the end of March to get a new FAR NTS or is there anyway I could get a new NTS sooner?

You are SOL. You had to sit before that date and since
they don't test in March you are out of luck. You have to
re-pay and get a new NTS, but wait until you find out about
Audit and save yourself $50, if you don't pass and have to
re-register for both.

Yes, you have to wait until your NTS expires. NASBA wont let you re register for a section until the NTS you have. In your case you will be able to repay for FAR on 3/31/11.

That may not be the case. I missed my AUD exam this Monday (due to transportation plus I am NOT ready), my NTS expires in March 2x 2011, but I just reapplied the exam of course repaid the fee today.

Good luck to very CPA candidate. One day we'll be a CPA!

How much fee to pay if someone failed and re-apply for FAR?
