Hi, I am in a similar situation as you, Indian CA planning to apply for CO license under rule 2.5, Education in Lieu of Experience.

Did your evaluation come outr positive i.e. your CA qualification enabled you to comply with rule 2.5?

Would appreciate your guidance, thanks.

Can someone please help me with following questions:-

  1. In case a person would not be working in United States, he/she would not be required to apply for licensure, correct?
  2. The Congratulatory letter would be sufficient proof of passing CPA and would be good enough to show in resume while applying for job in India, correct?
  3. Thus, there would no need to clear AICPA ethics exam, correct?
  4. What's the difference between CPA certificate from CO Board and CPA license from CO Board?

Thanks in advance!

CO is not a two-tier state....CO does not issue a certificate upon passing the exam, only a letter stating that you passed the exam.
