Can someone explain this stuff to me in plain english?

I don't get the major fund rules criteria...

I only have 3 days left before my exam and have yet to do an entire review. Should I just ditch F9 and start going over the old stuff...

I found it confusing in the book as well - however Becker did an update and provided a much more easily understood explanation here:

Under Financial course updates. It makes a lot more sense than the way it's explained in the book. HTH.
