I imagine most people would use the software for additional practice, which is what I recommend. After all, you did pay for it as part of your Yaeger program. It depends on how you study, but it's the most conservative option without having to purchase anything extra. I did only the minimum questions out of the book (hence my minimum score heh), and then I reviewed them 2-3 times. I don't recommend this method in most cases because it pretty much eases you into memorizing the answers. It's better to redo each problem from scratch. That way you really know you can do it without already looking at what formula you used.

My general strategy is to see how many questions from a sub-topic (within a module) Yaeger assigned. If it's only a few questions, then that topic is probably not that important. If something is mind-boggling but unimportant, I'll tend to just skip it thinking I can still pass without it, but feel free to practice these on the software because you never know. If the topic is a large one, I would focus on those. I found Yaeger's choices to be spot-on in most cases. Another strategy I use is to leave some topics until the very end because I know I will forget them if I study them too early on. These usually involve qualitative concepts, such as lists for quick memorization. This second strategy I used more for AUD than FAR, but in FAR it helped me for anything concerning IFRS. Study strategies will be a combination of how you learn (e.g., I couldn't use flashcards to save my life), how much time you have, and what resources are available to you. I loved how Yaeger actually shows you how to do things by walking you through them. Best of luck!

Those are just the MINIMUM questions. Do those and then invest in the Gleim software and do A LOT of multiple choice questions. I did over 1,200 additional questions on the Gleim software and that's how I finally passed FAR after 5 attempts, lol.

what is your methodology on practicing MCQs for Gleim?  Did you do them and then just read them and go back to your notes when you did them wrong? did you open your book while you did MCQs for reference?
