I started my career at a fortune 500 company, but I want to try to move to a big 4 firm in a year or two (didn't get any interviews for big 4 coming out of college, even though I had 3.9 gpa, dunno why). So I was wondering how hard is it to make this move?
Do I need to have connections with people in the big 4 to even get a shot? What should I do to give myself the best chance of getting an interview with them?
I would definitely make that move as quickly as possible
because having too much experience can be a disadvantage if
you are applying for an entry-level position. However,
there are often instances when experienced industry
professionals get managerial positions at Big 4.
Connections at Big 4 help a lot. So does passing the CPA
exam. Good luck!
