I received my CPA license in Colorado. I'm
moving to Florida.

When I SAT for the exam in the CO, I did not
meet Florida's SITTING requirements (ie 120 semester
hours, 24 in certain accounting areas, 24 in general
business, and 6 in business law). CO has less stringent
rules on specific courses, so I took the exam while still
earning a master's degree.

I now meet Florida's education requirements (ie 150
semester hours, 36 in certain accounting areas, 39 in
general business, and 6 in business law).

Does it matter that I didn't meet the SITTING
requirements? After all, I now meet the overall education
requirements...

I think you need to pass both licensing and education requirements. The best thing that you should do is to contact your appropriate state board as they give more clearer solutions for this.
