Hi Fusion - I also have a couple of questions for you.
I am currently working in audit at the Big 4 (6 months in) and was always interested in the finance side of things in college. I took the Big 4 offer as it was my only one when I graduated and recruiting for banking was pretty difficult. While I am going to apply to MM boutiques and smaller valuation shops, I was also thinking about a career within the Big 4 Advisory side of things, especially business valuation. What would you advise me to do at the moment so I can make myself somewhat competitive for these positions (either within my Big 4 firm or outside)? Is it really worth it to spend the time towards this designation right now? Would you recommend any particular books or interview guides that would make me more knowledgeable about the job?
