I still can't figure out whether a Limited Partner can be an Agent.

My observation is, a Limited Partner can be an Agent with limited rights.

If a thrid party assumes a limited partner as a general partner based on the rights assigned to him, then a limited partner will loose his limited liability status.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Once your state approves you, they'll give you all that information.  Until you have your NTS, there's not really anything you can do.

For most people, you can test at any Prometric center, on pretty much any date they're open.

How do I enroll with the state board for the BEC examination?

What is NTS?

How to get approved depends on your state.  The NTS is the Notice to Schedule, which means you've done everything you need to do, and can schedule the exam sections on the NTS.

What state are you planning to sit in?
