I notice most people who have jobs at big 4 firms are recruited and start
months after recruitment. A friend of mine knows someone who is high up
at a kpmg in the area. He said he would get me an interview. I am right out
of college with about 2 years of experience working for a small business
corporation. Would they even consider me for a job? Am I just wasting my
time going on an interview?

Why would you be wasting your time?  If you have the skills and qualifications, you should be fine.  Good luck!

Do any of the big 4 firms do immediate hires for enrty level? I really want to
start working full time. I dont want to wait a year before I can start working.

Yes, you'll want to interview under "experience hire" category, and not "campus hire" category

Check the career section of some of the Big4 websites, they'll usually have good explanations of all that.

Honestly, having gone from a big 4 to a corporation I think you will be better suited than a lot of people to do audits.  I wish I knew back then what I know now regarding systems, inventory, etc.  I would've been a much better auditor.  A lot of these kids right out of college don't have the first clue how an AP system or an AR system works, so you will have a huge advantage in that respect.
