the BEC section. I haven't taken a cost accounting class so I wonder if I would be in great disadvantage?? thanks!

I had cost accounting in college but did not remember enough to help at all on the exam. Becker does a good job of covering all of the cost topics that you will need for your exam.

i was in same situation like CPAcrazy, i could not remember cost accounting that i did in college, but becker did a good job, so you will be fine.

Wannabe, the cost accounting section (Planning and measurement) covers on an average 25% of the exam. Therefore, a lot of MCQs will be from this area. Given your limited experience, the Bisk Hot Spots DVDs on Cost and Managerial Accounting will help you greatly. Robert Monette does a very good job. His teaching style is excellent.

THe cost for the DVDs is $129.00. It comes with a manual which contains summarized notes of the lectures. Space is provided to write your own notes. Check it out on Bisk's website - www.cpaexam.com
