Can someone pls tell me what is the next step? I passed all 4 exams from CA board but dont know what are the next steps ! Is there anyone here who applied for license from CA board? Actually, i finished exams from California board, but now i live in TX. I do not have any work experience. What should i do? Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

I am in a similar situation as yours.  Can you tell me what are the next steps? Did you write your ethics exam? Thats the next step as far as my knowledge goes.  You can refer the license handbook on the Board's website to know about CA Board licensure.

Same Q I have...I recently passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam. I am planning to give the ethics exam which I think is the next step. However, I went to CAL CPA website and it says that the ethics score is valid for a period of only 2 yrs. I do not have any accounting experience, only tax preparation experience. So I m debating whether its even worth spending time/money on taking the ethics exam or should I just concentrate on my job search. If I m unable to get the required work-ex within 2 yrs, the ethics exam score will expire. Isn't it? So what is the point in giving it now...

I will really appreciate any advise.

Thanks a lot for all your help.
