i stopped going to gym when i started studying and got thinner. i study for 2-3 hours after work, then watch jay leno until i fall asleep.  then i spent 8 hours on sat and sun.  it works...just need the discipline.  i'm more curious about how those with kids were able to study and work.

Yeah, I work  8am -  3pm (5 days a week), and then study six days a week, usually 3:30 - 9pm . I'm taking one part at a time. I  own  a small business too, where I work on the weekends/late nights during weekdays, so its a busy  schedule. I'm taking the cpa  exam one part at  a time.  I passed FARE (Jan) and AUD (Apr). I'm taking BEC in  late Aug or early Oct, and then on to  REG probably late Nov or early Jan. It is possible to balance things out, but I have had to sacrifice my social life. I don't get to go gym at all, I try to play soccer a couple times a month on the weekends. I'm looking forward to get this thing done so I can have my life back, lol...

I quit my job as a bookkeeper to get my Post Bachelor in Accounting, I got first degree in engineering, and sit for CPA exam. So I combine school and CPA exam. One term I will take some classes, the other term I will study for one part of CPA exam. Plus I am married and have a teenage daughter. So family requires my time too. That is my way of taking CPA exam. I know I could not fit in full time job right now. Thanks God, my husband is working and supporting me.

I cut out the gym.  Instead i'd stretch in my living room.  Then run for 25 minutes or so.  I cut out the drive time to the gym.  And i could get a workout quicker when jogging.

good luck.
