I am taking FARE this Wednesday and have been studying Audit a little throughout my studying for FARE (as in I have completed all the lectures and hw's one time). But I really wanted to get 3 parts over with before I start work in Sept so I was thinking of starting to do BEC after FARE and take AUD and BEC in August. Has anyone studied for two parts in tandem and passed both? I don't want to waste $$, but at the same time I know how difficult it will be to work and study b/c all I do now is study! I had a schedule worked out to do 3 parts this summer, but of course it took 2 months for the NTS to arrive! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I THOUGHT YOU WERE ONLY ALLOWED TO TAKE TWO TESTS IN ONE TESTING WINDOW.  THAT WAS I WAS INFORMED TO BELIEVE SO I DON'T EVEN THINK ITS POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO TAKE ALL THREE THIS TESTING WINDOW.  HOPE YOU DO WELL.

I'M HAVING A HARD ENOUGH TIME STUDYING FOR REG BY ITSELF THAT I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD BE ABLE TO STUDY FOR BOTH WITHOUT GOING INSANE!

GOOD LUCK.

As a rule, Boards of Accountancy permit eligible candidates to take any sections of the Examination in any testing window and in any order they wish. However, candidates may not take any single section twice in the same testing window. Candidates should check their board's requirements for the exact rules that will apply to them.

I found this one cpa-exam.org, so I'm assuming this means you can't sit for one part twice, but could sit for all four in one window if desired.

You can sit for all 4 parts in one window if you wish. I don't know where that other person got their information...heck they used to make you do all 4 sections in 2 days!!
