hello everyone, I am new to this forum and i find it very useful. I am planning to take my CPA exam next year 2009. and now i want to go ahead buy books/materials. any recommendation please? and also please give the website where to buy or can i get it through local bookstore? thanks a lot.

At what point in 2009 do you plan to sit for the Exam?
I would be a little concerned about potential changes if you mean pretty deep into 2009. I wouldn't buy prep material at this point for any section I wasn't looking at taking by at least the second window in 2009.
To the more experienced ones, does my concern sound legitimate?
i am planning to take the first part maybe FAR or AUD on the first quarter of 2009. and i want to start studying soon. any recommendation for books? like specifically what vol or edition? thanks a lot
