Hi folks,
I am a beginner who still want to sit for CPA exam. I live in Texas now, but since one and another things the exam requirements are quite different among the states, i come up with these questions below that i need your guys help:
1. If i pass all parts of CPA exam from another state, and haven't been licensured on that state because waiting for the work experience requirement and any other things, can i transfer those scores to Texas? If i can, how to do it? Or in the opposite way, i pass the exams in Texas, then wanting to transfer those scores to any other states? 2. Is there any deadline date to transfer those scores from another state to Texas after i pass those parts of exam? If it is, how long is the deadline date? Or in the opposite way from Texas to any other states? 3. What happens if i don't meet the deadline date to transfer from the question #2? I can't transfer to Texas or any other states anymore in any circumstances?
4. If i pass all parts of CPA exam from another state and have been licensured on that state, how to transfer those scores and licensure to Texas? Or in opposite way, from Texas to any other states? 5. Can i be licensured on another state, but doing practice as a CPA in Texas? Or in the opposite way, being license in Texas, but practice as a CPA in any other states?
6. What is the difference between being license and certification? Are those 2 different things we need to register after we pass the CPA exam? Or both are the same, just difference in the term?
Please don't ask me to check all those questions myself from TSBPA, NASBA, or any other states website. I asked them here to get the real information from someone who has already had that experience or ever knows about those things. I really appreacite that help. No rush, you guys can take your time to answer it. Thanks a lot.
