Today i got my auditing result..i failed with a 67
LAST TIME MY SCORE WAS 66..does it mean i studied so hard only to get one mark more than last time..
i am very upset today ..i don't know what to do next
PLEASE CAN ANY ONE GIVE ME SOME TIPS OR SUGGESTIONS TO CLEAR THIS EXAM
I AM USING BECKER and Wiley MCQ
*i am studying for FAR right now..i am planning to take far in FEB*.
But after seeing my auditing score i am totally confused ..
I don't know which one to take next .My credit is expiring in july 09
Since this is going to be my first attempt in FAR.I Don't have confidence that i can clear it in first attempt.
PLZ tell a proper approach to study both for FAR and AUD.

i gave AUD twice, i had no auditing background what so ever..i got a 56 at first time, and i was so upset like you are right now, have been there, journey is tough, but i tried hard with full dedication and got an 80 on second attempt, personally my experience is becker is more than enough for AUD, i have tried everything, wiley, gliem, becker does a good job, i would just suggest one thing though, just buy the flash cards for AUD, or make your own, whatever you feel like, believe me its so important to have flash cards for a subject like AUD, which is full of memorization. good luck.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion..i used becker both the times but i don't know what is wrong with my approach .can you tell me what you did while studying for second time and how much time do you think i need to spend .i think my weak area is simulation .

I had to take 17 separate sections of the exam and pass REG twice to finish this thing, so I know a thing or two about failure.

Reevaluate the way you are studying.  Maybe you are not giving yourself enough time.  Maybe you should be using a review such as the Yaeger CRAM or the Becker Review.  I agree with Jams that flashcards might work for you as well.  This exam takes a lot of work to pass and the more efficient you can be the better your score will be.  Hopefully this helps.

i know how you feel vvs_cpa, i have failed REg twice now, and i have FAR and REG big monsters to pass. i think you need to change the way you are studying, may be give some more time, i have heard man y ppl saying audit and BEC are very easy, but honestly they are not..AUD is all about memorization, this would sound really crazy, but believe me it works. do as many MCQ's as you can. try all the MCQ's wiley, gliem, becker, keep doing them till you get 100% right. atleast i did all of them, because more Q's you do, more you know. also it will become very monotonous and way too boring, but well thats how it is.
doing MCQ's re-enforces what you learnt. and yeah out of sight is out of mind, this is my experience that i wont just not do anything before exams. the MCQ's that i did the day before the exams, helped me pass this one. good luck.
