volume of his voice?

it's really irritating. i have to keep my speaker volume set at a certain level because sometimes he speaks pretty quietly and i can't hear him if i put the volume any lower... then all of a sudden with no warning he just starts screeching really loud. it gets REALLY annoying.

other than that, i think he is a good lecturer and covers materials effectively but man, he hurts my ears when his unpredictable shouting :(
