Hi

I am looking for anyone with an Israeli education who can offer some advice or guidance...

I have a BA in Humanities from TLV university, an MBA (finance specialization)from BGU and Accounting courses completed at the Open U.

Is an Israeli BA considered equivalent to a US BA or is it considered an Associates Degree since its a 3 year program?

Also, does anyone have any experience with any of the following evaluation agencies:
www.facsusa.com
www.jsilny.com
www.wes.org
I need to use one of these as they are acceptable to the Georgia State Board, where I intend to sit the CPA.

Thank you!!!

  HI Peanut

FACSUSA is good . I had my creds evaluated through them. Their website address is : www.facsusa.com. I exactly dont know about your BA ( humanities ) whether it equals US BA. It all depends upon what you specialized in your BA. For an Indian Chartered accountant it is better to go for CO state. There is a new facility or feature added to the evaluation provision in CPA. You can get a pre eval done through the accredited evaluation agencies. You can ask FACS USA to do a pre eval for you. That will enable you to understand where you stand vis a vis CPA exams.  Tell FACS USA that you want a pre eval done through them. In my days that facility was not there. I believe FAC USA should be aware of this pre eval feature as they are closely connected to the AICPA .
