My NTS will expire in April, and I have not schedule the test date yet. for some reason if I want to schedule my test date in May ( after the NTS expiration date), do I only need to pay the reschedule fee or I have to reapply to board and pay all the application fee and test fee again???
Does anyone know and have the similar experience??

You have to purchase a new NTS, which means you will pay the exam fee again as well as a registration fee (typically this fee is not as much as the first time application fee, the amount depends on your jurisdiction).
Unfortunately there isn't any way to extend an NTS unless you can document evidence of a medical emergency, death in immediate family, active military duty or US visa rejection (foreign CPA candidates).
