I am pretty confused on how to sign up to take the exam in CA.  A week ago, I signed up for the sections I was going to take.  Since I eventually I will take all 4 sections, I put all of them on there.  Now I read that I should put the tests I will take in the next 9 months and I sure won't be ready for 4 sections in 9 months.  Did I do this wrong?  If so, how do I fix it?

Another question is if I fail a section, when I try to redo it, I see that I have to pay some $50 fee to re-register.  Do I also need to pay the $200+ fee for the test again?

1. To try to fix it, I would try calling them up. Good luck, because it is extremely hard to get a hold of a live person. Plus, all of the budget cuts in the state won't make the process any easier.

2. If you didn't plan on taking all 4 sections in the next 9 months, then yes- you did it wrong. It pays to read instructions :)

3. If you do fail a section, yes you have to pay the $50 re-application fee + the cost of another exam to NASBA.

Hope this helps! Good Luck!!
