Hi,

I'm B. Com and CA (ICAI) living in Mass (MA) currently. After doing some research I could find that colorado is only state showing some consieration to indian (or for that matter other CAs as well) CA as far as appearing for CPA.I wanted to confirm whether my CA certificate will be enough to appear for exam (requirements for CO board says CA MAY take examination). I'm sure that there will be many CAs out there who have gone through the same route can anybody suggest.

Thanks

Hi,

yes, only your CA membership certificate is required to apply CO board. It is a very simple process.Just send them attested copy of CA membership certificate along with application form.No evaluation is required if you are CA from india.

Hope it helps

Good luck

Hi,

Thanks a lot for this information it was helpful.Though I don't have CA membership certificate yet, I can get one after applying for same to ICAI.I believe attestation is not mandatory.

No. You will first have to qualify with the education credits. Delaware is the only option. Even that window will close eventually. Slowly, all states will phase in the 150 credit requirement.
