I am actually studying for my last section with the other 3 done and passed and my thoughts have turned to what comes next.

My initial application was approved based on the 150 hour rule here in MA. Therefore, from what I can tell, I do not need to fill out the "Academic Evaluation for Certification Report". I can't seem to find much information on the NASBA, Mass Board of Accountancy, or MSCPA websites about the specific steps required.

Any info would be greatly appriciated. Unfortunatly I work in a very small practice so I don't have any coworkers around who have taken the exam recently.

Hi Hypnotoad,

I am planning to apply to MA. Could you tell me if you have taken business law in your 150 hours to sit for the exam?

Thanks!

forest699,

Yes, I took business law in college, it was a required course for all business school majors.

I believe some type of law course is required under the Massachusetts certification requirements.

My initial application to sit for the exam was approved by NASBA based on the MA 150 hour rule so I'm hoping that I can avoid having to request another set of trasncripts. It can be such a hassle getting a full set of transcripts together.
