Thanks a ton for your detailed explanation.

Actually this similar assets & dissimilar assets really makes sense to me. I donno why have they removed this.

But ya if nothing is given in the exam atleast by this we know if the transaction has or lacks commercial substance.

i havent taken my date as yet.

But may be 3rd or last week of August.

What abt u ? is this ur 1st exam ?

I have done all the MCQs from non monetory exchanges before but when i was reading your question Payal , I did not remember the concept at all . This is too scary . Did anyone else also go through such a smiliar situation. looks like FAR needs way more study than the other subjects :(
