I have a question regarding reciprocity for Missouri.  I'm currently taking the exam in the state of Illinois.  Here is my situation:

I've graduated with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and have over 150 hours (was a computer science major for a couple of years before switching).  Since I only have a BBA, I have taken only 24 credits in "core" accounting courses, despite my 150 hours.  This qualified me to sit for the IL exam (the state which I live).  However, the state of Missouri requires 30 hours in accounting courses to sit for the exam.  I work for a CPA firm in St. Louis, and would prefer to be licensed both in the state of IL and MO.

My question is, once I pass the exam (2 for 2, 2 to go), will I be able to apply for reciprocity in Missouri even though I'm deficient in accounting courses (6 hours).  I will have 1 year experience when passing if that factors.

I've asked the IL State Board (or at least, the service people who process phone requests) and they have said yes, but I'm looking for seperate confirmation in case I need to work 6 more credits into my schedule next summer/fall.  Thanks!

I have the same question, as I have a non-attest CPA license (w/ 150hrs) from a 24-hr-Acctg state (California), and would like to know if I can transfer my license to Florida.
