I'm looking for some career advice. I have started my accounting career and the current economy has put up a couple blocks to it. However, to quickly get to my issue, I would love to work in public accounting but have had no luck getting into it.

I've been debating trying to get into internal audit. Do you think a background in Internal Audit would be more beneficial to my future then experience as a staff accountant?

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
