New to the forum, and wanted to find out more about prospects in accounting/finance pertaining to ERP systems (Oracle/SAP). I'm looking to get an accounting/business degree, with a focus on ERP with certification. Given the current state of the economy, what is the short term and long term prospect for this area of accounting?

Another area of accounting I'm looking into is to focus on international accounting and get a Hong Kong and U.S. C.P.A. What do you see as demand for someone with certification in China and the U.S.?

Your thoughts on these two possible avenues? I'm taking community college courses in California, and looking into obtaining a master in accountancy from a university in Hong Kong.
