Hi guys,

I got a part time opportunity with a sole proprietor CPA at $10 an hour.I hope to complete my CPA degree by October 2009.I have work experience from a different country of 4.5 years in audit,tax etc and an average GPA of 3.8.As i have no US experience ,is this a good opportunity to learn the work ie accounting,taxation etc.or will i be hurting my chances of getting a better opportunity after CPA.I am just worried that some employers may not relieve one from the job when a better opportunity comes by.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Any US experience will be good for you until you complete your degree. You will get your hands on everything and will see how its different from you country. Stick to it till graduation then look for a better pay.
